Rays introduce Damon & Manny

In what was seeming as an abysmal off season for the Tampa Bay Rays, a bright light seem to shine this Tuesday afternoon with the introductions of their two newest players, Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez.

With the loss of Matt Garza, Carlos, Pena and Carl Crawford, arguably the foundation of their recent success, most of us wanted to throw in the towel before the season even started.  The combination of losing player personal and trying to compete in the AL East with a fully reloaded Red Sox team, the 2011 season did not look so bright for the Rays.
But with the signing of future Hall of Famers, Johnny Damon and Manny Ramriez, the Rays look to play a "wild card" and offers some hope to fight for the AL East.

2010-2011 BCS National Championship Game

It's the day we've all been waiting for since the 2010-2011 NCAA season ended in December. January 10th 2011, the day the national champion will be crowned between the #1 Auburn Tigers and #2 Oregon Ducks. There are some exciting elements to this game as once again a Heisman trophy winner will be competing in the national championship game and both teams are vying to win their first national title for their respective schools.

Since my senior year of high school, Facebook has been a regular part of my life. I was actually one of the first people to hop on the Facebook bandwagon while everyone in high school was stil reppin' Myspace. In 2010 however, the machine known as Facebook began to come a distraction. Oodles of time was spent looking at pictures, chatting or just being on there to waste time. In 2011 my best friend, Conner and I are going to be giving up Facebook for an entire year. It will be challenging, but in the end more rewarding as valuable time and efforts will not be wasted on Facebook. Conner and I have been brainstorming these past few weeks and it looks like with the loss of Facebook, the Mogg Blog is going to be more in action. Be on the lookout for the addition of Conner's Corner as well as new topics and information coming to the blog. We're off to Colorado this week to snowboard but be on the lookout: In 2011 the Mogg Blog will be a force to be reckon with
